Privacy
This site collects as little as a website can. There is no analytics package, no advertising network, no social widget, no embedded video, no font served from someone else's server and no cookie set by us.
Cookies
None. The site sets no cookies of any kind, which is also why there is no consent banner — there would be nothing to consent to.
Search
Search runs entirely inside your browser. A small index ships with each page and the rest is fetched as static files when you first use the search box. What you type is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and no search query is logged.
Server logs
The hosting provider records ordinary web server logs — the address requested, the time, the referring page, the browser's user-agent string, and the requesting IP address. These are used to keep the site working and to spot abuse. We do not use them to build profiles, and we do not combine them with anything else.
If you write to us, we keep the message so we can act on it, and only for that. It is not added to a mailing list and it is not shared. There is no newsletter.
Links out
Reports link to statutes, regulations, agency pages and other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not reach them.
Children
This is a general-audience publication about law. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone knowingly.
Changes
If this ever changes — if any analytics or third-party code is added — this page is rewritten before the change goes live, not after. Questions go to [email protected].
